After graduating as Mechanical Engineer from the University of Windsor, Canada, Rahul began his career in sales of industrial refrigeration & compressor technology in Canada, USA and UAE. He then founded Kabu Projects as well as Grain Technik, two companies in the field of industrial air conditioning and is to date CEO and member of the Executive Board of both. Rahul has over 15 years of experience in this field.

Process Engineer with a Master’s in Environmental and Process Engineering, an MBA from EUDE, Madrid, and a PhD in Postharvest Technology from the University of Kassel, Germany.

With over a decade of experience in postharvest conservation, she has worked with Bühler Germany and Bühler India, where she led the Competence Centre for Paddy to Rice and founded the International Rice Milling Academy. She has also contributed to Bühler’s global Food Safety Expertise team.

Her expertise spans postharvest preservation, grain quality, rice milling, and food safety.

Burkhard is a graduated Industrial Engineer from Darmstadt Institute of Technology, Darmstadt, Germany and started his career there, working as a research assistant at the Mechatronics Institute.  He later worked as a R&D Manager at ABB Motors, Germany as well as for ALSTOM, France. Before assuming his current position, he worked as the Head of Engineering for a heavy-duty refrigeration company. Burkhard has over 30 years of R&D experience.

Rajiv Iyer is a Mechanical Engineer and Industrial Engineer, with qualifications from VJTI, Mumbai and IIIE, Mumbai, along with an MBA in International Marketing from IMT, Ghaziabad.
He currently serves as Vice President – Global Sales at GrainTechnik. With more than three decades of experience in the seed and grain sector, Rajiv has worked with leading multinational companies including Cimbria and Petkus across Asia, Germany, MENA, and Australia.
Throughout his career, he has developed extensive expertise in seed and grain processing, international sales, business development, and market expansion, with a strong understanding of the global grain and seed industry.

As Business Development Director, he brings 46 years of experience and extensive know-how in bulk handling of raw materials and processing technologies. He is a specialist in grain milling for flour production and its derivatives, with deep expertise in plant design, solution integration, and concept development tailored to specific customer requirements.
His expertise also extends to the science and practical implementation of grain quality preservation throughout storage and processing, helping develop solutions that maintain grain quality and optimise processing performance.
